Genemuiden has a history of taking action, persevering and starting again. Over the centuries, its people have faced change, setbacks and uncertainty. Yet the town has always managed to adapt and look ahead.
That resilience is reflected in the people, their enterprise and their strong connections with one another. Traditions were passed on, crafts developed and new opportunities were embraced.
At the Stadsmuseum, discover how events from the past have shaped the Genemuiden of today. Stories of setbacks and recovery, of holding on and embracing change. Whatever changes, Genemuiden always finds a way forward.
